Resume
Master Kun
Born in January, 1981
City of origin: He Nan, China
I started to learn Kung Fu since I was small. My parents sent me to the Shaolin Temple and I begun a serious training and studying at the same time, under the supervision of Master She Yong Di.
During the years of my training at the Shaolin, I mastered Kung Fu, Tai Ji, Wu Shu, Qi Gong, San Shou (kickboxing), and various weapons skills.
As a Shaolin’s representative, I have performed Kung Fu in various countries, include Paris, Germany, Singapore, Korea, and Japan. Here's where I have been teaching since I left the Shaolin:
2000-2001 - In Morocco as the Head Master
2001-2004 - At Shanghai Jiading Martial Arts School as the Principal Master
2004 - At Ch'i Life Studio, Singapore
2005-2006 - At Shanghai Jiading Martial Arts School as the Principal Master
2006-2008 - At Ch’i Life Studio, Shanghai, as the Head Trainer
At Present - Yew Chung International School, Shanghai (Middle School students)
- Rainbow Bridge International School, Shanghai
- Active Kidz Shanghai
- Students' residences
At this moment, I teach my students on freelance basis - I go to where my students need me to train them, and I don't belong to any Kung Fu Studios. I decided to do this so that I can have more freedom to practice my skills while pursuing other interests, and so that more students can afford to train. My students range from small children, teenagers, to adult of different occupations and professions.
My life revolves around the strength, wisdom, and grace of Shaolin Kung Fu and other Chinese Martial Arts that I've practiced for over 23 years now. I wish to train, promote, and pass my skills and abilities to others who are passionate about Chinese Martial Arts for as long as I can.
Sincerely,
Master Kun
