Shaolin Kung Fu
The training is based on traditional Shaolin teachings and methods, which include rigorous body conditioning, empty-hands forms, applications, and weapon forms; however, it is also designed to be a fun and great workout. The routine includes intense cardiovascular workout, flexibility training, self-defense, balance, focus, speed and coordination. It involves learning form sequences that evolve into a discipline of body and mind as theory becomes an integral part of the training. Shaolin Kung Fu is a martial art that ultimately develops external (body) and internal (mind) strengths. Youths and adults will benefit from this energetic program.
Wu Shu
Wu Shu is both an exhibition and a full-body contact sport derived from traditional Chinese martial arts. The training include body conditioning, repetitions of basic movements such as stances, kicks, punches, balances, jumps, sweeps and throws), Tao Lu (forms or Handsets), rigorous stretching, and sparring at the advance level. Students will have a chance to learn weapon forms after they gain required flexibility and strength, and get used to barehand routines. This class is great for all ages, men or women, as it promotes healthy and strong body, discipline, focus, and patience.
Children Kung Fu
This program is for children age 4 to 12. The routine is the same with Kung Fu program for adults, but with much less intensity. The training can increase your child's confidence, courage, strength, focus, and body flex.
San Shou (Kickboxing)
San Shou is a distillation of Shaolin Kung Fu into a kickboxing-style fighting system. The training is vigorous and requires hard body conditioning and it involves striking, punching, kicking, leg catching, sweeps, takedowns and throws. You can expect a routine that is a combination of intense cardiovascular workout, pad drills, fighting techniques, partner training and contact sparring. It is an excellent way to get fit, build your muscles, and learn skills at defending yourself.
Tai Ji Quan
The training involves fluid sequence of movements choreographed in a low impact routine, which focuses on the mind and body connection. The active meditation provides tranquility and is achieved when movements are coordinated with mental awareness. Contrary to its gentle appearance, Tai Ji Quan, at its advanced stages of training, can be an effective martial art. This program is an effective training method for stress relief, osteoarthritis, and provides better concentration, circulation and balance in adults and elderly.
Qi Gong
Qigong combines great concentration with simple movements and controlled breathing. The training uses breath, movement and meditation. Students will be taught genuine Qi Gong, which passed down from master to disciple. The training increases the flow of energy throughout the body and naturally helps relieve congestion, which is beneficial to health, and helps to reduce stress.
